Bing CashBack Closed

The Bing Cashback program has officially ended as of July 30th 2010. I realize we are a bit late reporting on this, but it seems to have generated some buzz.

Bing Cashback was established as Live Cashback back in May 22nd, of 2008, as a way to get users interacting with the Bing shopping portal, as well as get advertisers on board with Bing.

The cashback came in the form of Bing paying its customers money back made on purchases users made using the Bing/Live shopping portal.

At one point Bing had “over a thousand merchant partners delivering great offers”. No doubt the recession has put a huge strain on the shopping portal. Was that the deciding blow? Who knows.

If you’ve racked up some cash you have a year to claim it so get on it.
